Guide physical test for age group man and woman artistic gymnastic
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to develop a comprehensive physical test guide in guiding the talent of male and female artistic gymnastics athletes. The main focus of the research is to identify and quantify the key physical components necessary for the development of budding artistic gymnastic athletes. The method used was a survey with research subjects of artistic gymnastics athletes aged 9-12 years who had reached level 4 skills. The study involved a series of tests that included five main components: flexibility, strength, speed, power, and anthropometric measurements. The test instruments are designed specifically for both gender categories, taking into account the different physiological characteristics between male and female athletes. The development of this test guide is based on international standards and adapted to the coaching needs of artistic gymnastics athletes at the beginner level. The results of the study show that the developed test guide can be an effective tool in identifying the potential talent of artistic gymnastics. The guide also provides measurable parameters to evaluate the physical development of athletes, making it easier for coaches to design appropriate training programs. In conclusion, this physical test guide can be used as a standard instrument in the talent guidance process of beginner artistic gymnastics athletes, supporting the systematic and measurable development of talented athletes.
